The season of Advent, the time of preparation for the coming of Christ at Christmas and the start of the liturgical year in the Roman Catholic Church, starts on a different date each year. When does Advent 2011 start?
Answer: Advent 2011 begins on the First Sunday in Advent, November 27, 2011. (For the date on which Advent starts in other years, see When Does Advent Start?)
