I'm announcing this week's Novena of the Week a day early, because I'm once again asking you to pray for my maternal uncle and godfather, Paul Janasik, who needs your prayers now more than ever. Uncle Paul has taken a bad turn and is being sent home from the University of Michigan hospital. He will be going into hospice.
As you pray the Litany of Intercession to Our Lady of Mount Carmel, please pray both for healing for Uncle Paul and that he may have the strength to face the coming days and weeks. And please keep in your prayers his wife of 50 years, my aunt and godmother Molly, and their five children and their grandchildren, as well as my mother and her three sisters. May God grant them all strength and, in the end, peace.
It has been my pleasure to pray for Uncle Paul…Your great faith is an inspiration .
May God bless Paul on the wonderful feast day of St. Peter and Paul…May he be comforted in knowing others do care as they ask that he may experience the presence of God during these end times.
