What I Lost
My daughter lost her gold earring.
Why I Prayed to Saint Anthony, and What Happened
I didn't as such believe in this kind of prayer. It was always pray to Jesus and through the Holy Spirit be empowered. On the day my daughter lost her earrings, it was just before leaving for school. I leave for work before she goes. She didn't mention it to anybody at home. In the evening I saw her walking up and down in search of something. She told me about it and we swept the corridor and adjoining rooms but we did not find it. My Mother-in-law was panicky as it was gold and the Aunty at home was shouting and grumbling, "Children don't care for things . .. couldn't she tell me in the morning. Now I am sure we will never find it." All through I kept praying to Jesus and this time I thought, why not call upon St. Anthony to intercede? I also challenged him, actually . . . let's see how that works.
We searched for it for sometime and then gave up, went about doing our work. In the night at around 10:30 P.M. as I was entering my son' room I found something shining at the entrance. I couldn't believe my eyes; it was indeed the earring. I screamed out like Archimedes, "Eureka" ("I found it"). Believe me it was as if somebody had placed it there. This was a place that we had already scanned through and swept earlier. I thanked our Lord and St Anthony.

- Jesus has provided us Angels and Saints to pray for us. It's so easy, just like how we tell our friends to pray for us.
