This tree happens to be my son's tree he has another one he is using.
Tell Us About Your Christmas Tree:
I put up three Christmas trees; one white one with blue decorations, and a small Victorian tree with personal memorabilia and bubble lights, and always a large tree in our living room. Over the years I have accumulated many beautiful ornaments; some were my Mom's and others are from when my husband and I were newlyweds back in the '70's! I love to put tinsel on our tree as the finishing touch; and when the lights are lit in the evenings along with all our Christmas decorations all around our house, it is truly spectacular!
Tell Us About a Special Ornament or a Family Tradition:
I have a very old paper-chain that my children made when they were little, which still goes on the lower branches. I can't believe so much time has passed; but Christmas is the perfect time of year to re-visit all your memories and always to make new ones!
Tips and Tricks
- When applying tinsel, always start from the bottom and work upwards. Never throw the tinsel on the tree, ala Ed Norton on "The Honeymooners" no matter how comical he was!
