When did you start your Catholic blog?

May 2010

Why did you start your Catholic blog?

I have been involved in adult faith formation, (RCIA, bible study, workshops, etc.) for over fifteen years. The blog is a logical extension of my ministry. Further, as the wife of a deacon, I have a different perspective on parish life.

What topics do you cover, and what is your main focus?

The blog covers "all things Catholic." This includes Catholic news, saint of the day, theology, apologetics, the diaconate, reflections on striving for holiness, and anything that I find interesting.

What makes your Catholic blog unique and worth reading?

Although I am a cradle Catholic, I haven't always been a faithful one. Until my late 30's, I was a "just in case Catholic." That is, I went to Mass just in case it was all true. Then I started studying Catholic teaching in earnest, and I have never looked back.

My blog reflects my journey from nominal Catholic to becoming, just over four years ago, the wife of a deacon.

Susan Kehoe, in A Deacon's Wife, ranges far and wide, but she always brings a Catholic sensibility to every topic, including non-Catholic ones.
