My Review

After reading Shannon's book, I arranged for her to come to Greenwood, MS, for a Catholic Retreat. While she was here, she spoke at Pillow Academy to all the 6th-12th graders. I must say the kids were astounded by her stories that are portrayed in the book. After the talk at Pillow Academy, Shannon had the opportunity to have a book signing at our local bookstore. Several teenagers came to hear more about the book.

My 17 year old daughter read the book and said how it has changed her life. Having the opportunity to meet Shannon has intensified her belief in God. In the book Exposed, she portrays her battle with accepting God in her heart as well as rejecting God. This gave my teenager a new sense of who God really is. Her statement was, "I always thought God was like a parent, but Shannon has made me see God as a friend that is always there when you need one."

Shannon's book gives the reader a sense of forgiveness. It made me know that no matter how sinful we may be, God will ALWAYS forgive.

I HIGHLY reccommend this book to all Christian readers!!

Would you recommend this to a friend?
