Lesson Thirtieth of the Baltimore Catechism No. 1 is the final lesson on the Ten Commandments. It discusses the meaning of the Seventh, Eighth, Ninth, and Tenth Commandments. This lesson from the First Communion Catechism contains 14 questions and answers drawn from Baltimore Catechism No. 2 (Confirmation Catechism). The numbering from Catechism No. 2 is used to make it easy to cross-reference the two catechisms.

A. The seventh Commandment is: Thou shalt not steal.
A. By the seventh Commandment we are commanded to give to all men what belongs to them and to respect their property.
A. The seventh Commandment forbids all unjust taking or keeping what belongs to another.
