Two weeks in, and we're up to a whopping 24,000 votes across all ten categories in the 2013 About Catholicism Readers' Choice Awards! The About.com Readers' Choice Awards Logo

Best Catholic Podcast, our highlighted category for today, mirrors the race we've seen for Best Catholic Website. The Word on Fire Sermon Podcast, the podcast of the Sunday sermons of Fr. Robert Barron, host of the popular public-television show Catholicism, took an early lead, but now Divine Office has turned the tables and taken a commanding lead.

Still, I wouldn't count Word on Fire or any of the three remaining podcasts—A Good Story Is Hard to Find, iPadre Catholic Podcast, and Pray as You Go—out just yet. After all, each has a podcast on which to promote the vote!

Remember, you can vote once every 24 hours in each category on every day of the voting period (February 19 through March 19). So if your favorite is running behind, vote first, then spread the word: Click here to post the voting page for Best Catholic Podcast to Twitter; and click here to post it to your Facebook wall.

And even if you've already voted today, you can check on the current results of all of the races by going to the Interim Results in the 2013 About Catholicism Readers' Choice Awards.
