I’m pleased to announce the 2012 About.com Readers’ Choice Awards. The Readers’ Choice Awards showcase the best products, features and services in dozens of categories across all of About.com.
This is the second year that the About.com Catholicism GuideSite will be participating in the Readers’ Choice Awards. Starting at 12:00 A.M. EST on January 18, 2012, I will be accepting nominations in the following categories:
- Best Catholic Book of 2011
- Best Catholic Blog
- Best Catholic Website
- Best Catholic Podcast
- Best Catholic Radio Show
- Best Catholic Magazine
- Best Catholic Newspaper
- Best Catholic iOS App
- Best Catholic to Follow on Twitter
- Best Catholic Facebook Page
Nominations will be accepted from 12:00 A.M. EST on January 18, 2012, until 11:59 P.M. EST on February 15, 2012. Readers are free to nominate their own product or site, as well as someone else's, and to promote the Readers’ Choice Awards to their community. (Sign up for the About.com Catholicism Newsletter to be notified automatically when nominations open.)
Finalists will be announced on February 22, and voting will run from February 22 through March 21. The winners will be announced on March 30. There's no prize—just the bragging rights that come with getting recognized as the best of the best by the readers of a leading website owned by The New York Times Co. (Finalists and winners will receive a badge that they can place on their website and use in other promotional material.)
You can learn more about how the Readers' Choice Awards program works by checking out the 2011 About.com Catholicism Readers' Choice Awards Finalists. And you can find last year's winners at Best Catholic Media - About.com Catholicism Readers' Choice Awards 2011.

Bruce, I like iPieta very much. It was one of the finalists last year for both Best Catholic iPhone App and Best Catholic iPad App.
