The debates continue to rage in the Catholicism forum, with new members "philosopherscorner" and "JohnofPaterson" stepping up to the plate to defend Catholic doctrine on the role of Scripture, and "FroodPerfect" doing the same on abortion.
Meanwhile, Protestant "sugakitten" takes offense at my discussion, on the Catholicism guidesite, of certain Christian holidays, because I refer to them as (for example) the "Catholic holiday of Easter." Our forum moderator, Steven Hepburn (who goes by the name "ave maria gratia plena"), sets "sugakitten" straight. Steven also offers some good advice to a Catholic who has been baptized but never confirmed.
And finally, forum member "sunshine_clearwater" posts her e-mail to the president of Notre Dame, protesting the university's decision to honor President Obama. Did you e-mail Notre Dame or write a letter? If so, please share it in the forum!
