2008 in Review: December

Monday January 5, 2009
On this, the Twelfth Day of Christmas, we're laying 2008 to rest once and for all. In addition to the preparations for Christmas and the celebration of the feast itself, December 2008 saw the passing of Avery Cardinal Dulles and a potentially ominous sign of things to come, as a Catholic monarch was stripped of some of his powers for opposing a law against euthanasia. Now, more than ever, Catholics must stick together, and a new social-networking website has arrived to help us in that task.

Click on the links in the poll to read the articles, then return to this page to cast your vote. You can also check out the entire archive of posts for December 2008. If your favorite post wasn't listed in the poll, leave a comment and tell us which one it was!

And remember to check back tomorrow, on the Feast of Epiphany, for a special announcement about what 2009 will bring for the About.com Guidesite to Catholicism!
