2008 in Review: November

In the aftermath of the U.S. presidential election, articles in November 2008 discussed future Catholic participation in American politics, with a focus on life issues and on the Catholic understanding of marriage. Catholic teachings that are often attacked--on Purgatory, contraception, and premarital sex--led to interesting discussions about sainthood, population control, and the moral state of Catholic colleges.
