Wordless Wednesday: Pieta

My parents actually gave a replica of Pieta to my grandmother. When she died, we took it back to our house. I look at it just about every day. It tells the story of a mother’s undying love.

This is a perfect photo for this week, which included the feast of Our Lady of Sorrows on Monday.

This Pieta reminds me of the replica my folks had of Michelanglo’s Pieta. How very much can be captured in the moment portrayed.
