Election 2008: The Democrats and Embryonic Stem-Cell Research

Monday September 8, 2008
Yesterday, I took a look at where Republican presidential nominee John McCain and vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin stand on the life issue of embryonic stem-cell research (ESCR). Today, it's the Democrats' turn.

What ESCR legislation has Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama supported and voted for? What about vice-presidential nominee Joe Biden? As a Catholic, is Biden's position on ESCR closer to the Catholic Church's teaching on stem-cell research than his position on abortion is?

You can read all about it in Where Do Barack Obama and Joe Biden Stand on Embryonic Stem-Cell Research? And check back soon for similar discussions of the Republican and Democratic tickets' positions on abortion.
